Proposals get read alone. Yours can answer back.

Ghostlayer turns your PDF or Word doc into a link your buyer can question. Every answer is the passage itself, highlighted in your document, and anything it doesn't cover comes to you.

Illustrative preview: a buyer asks a Master Services Agreement what the termination terms are. Clause 10.2 is highlighted, the answer cites it, and the question appears in the owner's log.

From attachment to conversation in three steps

A proposal usually gets read once, alone, by someone who wasn't on the call. When they get stuck, they book a call, start a thread, or put it off.

  1. Upload the document

Drop in a PDF or Word file. Ghostlayer reads its structure, down to clause numbers and defined terms.

  2. Send one link per buyer

Label each link by deal and decide when it expires. Your buyer opens it in a browser, no account needed.

  3. They ask, you see

Buyers get answers drawn from the document, each one highlighted in place. Every question lands in your log.

Your buyer gets answers. You get the questions.

Try it here: this page works like a Ghostlayer link. Ask it something with the flags at the bottom of the screen.

§2.1

The answer is the passage

The page scrolls to the clause and highlights it. When an answer spans several clauses, it walks your buyer through each one in turn.

§2.2

Nothing made up

Answers come only from your document, and when the answer isn't there, Ghostlayer says so.

§2.3

Gaps come to you

When the document doesn't cover something, your buyer can flag it for you and it lands in your question log.

§2.4

Every question, logged for you

Every question asked on your document is logged for you, with the answer given and the link it came through. Buyers are told before they ask.

Schedule B. Questions asked on this page

Nothing asked yet. Use a flag to ask this page something, and it shows up here the way your buyers' questions would show up for you.

§2.5

Links you control

One link per buyer or deal, each with its own expiry. An expired link stops opening; your document and its log stay until you delete them.

§2.6

Private by design

Your documents and your buyers' questions are answered by privately hosted AI models. The model provider never stores them or trains on them.

Questions

What file types work?

PDFs and Word documents (.docx), including clean scans. We read scanned pages with OCR and tell you if any page may be misread. Handwriting isn't read.

Does my buyer need an account?

No. They open the link and start asking.

How do link expiry and deletion work?

You choose when each link expires, anywhere from 24 hours to never, and you can extend or revoke it at any time. An expired link stops opening, but the document and its question log stay in your account until you delete the document.

Can one link cover several documents?

Each link covers one document for now. Linked sets, such as an MSA with its SOWs, are on the roadmap.

Can I see who asked what?

You see every question and the link it came through. Readers on an open link stay anonymous; give each buyer their own link and you'll know which deal asked.
